Associate Director for Davis Center Operations & Events 

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Associate Director provides operational and administrative leadership for the mission, vision and long-term planning for the Dudley H. Davis Student Center, developing and managing building and events policy, scheduling workflow, and space utilization plan based on a student-centered ethos.  The Associate Director works collaboratively with a variety of campus partners to ensure the Davis Center serves the community effectively. 

Additionally, this position supervises 6 full-time staff and 15 student employees, and is responsible for the success and oversight of the student employment and development program of approximately 75-80 students. 

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION

This position is full-time, year-round, and is benefits-eligible.

The salary range is $74,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the Davis Center Operations & Events team and oversees the day-to-day operations of the building focusing on events, facilities, building and events policy, and general building management
  • Supervises 6 full-time and 15 student employees
  • Responsible for the financial management of operating budget and reserve spending
  • Serves as co-administrator for campus-wide space scheduling software (EMS)
  • Frequently collaborates with a wide range of campus partners
