Vice President for Enrollment Management

VICE PRESIDENT FOR ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT

Whitworth University, a nationally ranked, private Christian liberal arts institution serving undergraduate, graduate and adult undergraduate students, invites applications and nominations for the Vice President for Enrollment Management (VPEM). The institution seeks a vice president who will provide dynamic, proven leadership for recruitment, retention, financial aid and student accounting services in support of the university.

Founded in 1890, Whitworth University has consistently ranked among the top regional colleges and universities in the West. Whitworth has an enrollment of more than 2,700 students and offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including two new doctoral programs in the health sciences. With strong liberal arts undergraduate and graduate programs, Whitworth unites a robust commitment to Christian mission and service, academic rigor, and care for students.
The VPEM is the chief enrollment officer for the university and is charged with developing and implementing an annual and long-range enrollment management strategy that will complement and support the university's strategic plan as well as foster the institution's mission. This is a cabinet-level position that reports directly to the president and requires working closely with the president, other cabinet officers and various campus constituents to successfully advance Whitworth in a highly competitive higher education marketplace. The VPEM must exhibit an appreciation of, a sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse environment, inclusive of students, faculty and staff of many social, economic, cultural, ideological, racial and ethnic backgrounds.

The VPEM oversees recruitment for traditional undergraduate students and oversees the Whitworth Student Financial Services offices, which manage financial aid and student accounts for all students.

The vice president will collaborate with the president's cabinet in leading the university's annual and long-term tuition revenue projections, including revenue projections for annual budgets and medium- and long-term revenue forecasts, and is responsible for achieving institutional goals for enrollment and net tuition revenue.
