Senior Project Manager

As a senior project manager for SCADpro, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within agreed upon objectives; develop, plan, and manage critical workflows for the SCAD x Deloitte partnership; and own the intake strategy and prioritization framework to ensure the right problems are solved in the right order to drive the highest value. You will manage and direct quarterly assignments; work cross-functionally to plan, produce, and design experiences for the industry partner; and maintain an array of internal and external relationships.

Weekly, you will connect with the industry partner to ensure the project is aligned with business needs and that external project dependencies are properly managed. You will proactively identify and discuss solutions for potential blockers or production risks, troubleshoot workflow questions for involved teams, and establish process that ensure smooth and seamless communication between teams, leadership, and brand partners. You will develop, coordinate, and deliver professional presentations; coordinate and host partners (including comprehensive itinerary development); and provide analysis, status reports, and metrics to both SCAD and Deloitte partners and leadership, among other duties.

The successful candidate is an analytical, results-driven self-starter with a solid background in managing complex projects that involve multiple stakeholders. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, are paramount, as is the ability to manage accountability well across multiple work streams. Organized and highly detailed, the candidate should have a proven capacity for identifying risks and managing trade-offs. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is a must, and the candidate should also demonstrate advanced negation, networking, and relationship-building skills. The candidate should have a high degree of emotional intelligence, a commitment to the student learning experience, and a background with multidisciplinary teams. Creativity, strong customer service skills, and the ability to thrive as both an individual contributor and part of a team are also essential.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
  • Minimum of seven years of professional experience
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Confluence, Asana, Aha, Workfront)
  • Proven success managing the implementation of products and services within a design studio, agency, consultancy, and/or internal design team

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
