Professor of Business

SCAD Atlanta seeks a full-time professor of business to teach insightful courses such as entrepreneurship, accounting, marketing, and management for remarkable students across SCAD’s many disciplines.

From advertising and creative business leadership to luxury and brand management and beyond, business plays an essential role in SCAD Core, the university’s general education curriculum, and in the university’s most popular minor, business management and entrepreneurship. In this role, you will join one of the most academically diverse general education programs at any art and design university to further advance SCAD students’ preparation for creative careers.

The successful candidate demonstrates enthusiasm for working with an exceptional population of students from around the world and has the ability to foster a positive learning environment built on real-world knowledge and skill. Experience in design thinking is a welcome bonus.

Requirements
- Terminal degree in business or a related discipline
- University-level teaching experience
- Ability to be credentialed through SACS guidelines or justified to teach

Minimum Qualifications:

- Terminal degree in related discipline.
- Teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
- Experience or knowledge of related industries.
- Ability to be credentialed through SACS guidelines or justified to teach.
