Vice President, Chief Digital Information Officer

Ringling College of Art and Design (Ringling) seeks a strategic and innovative leader to serve as its Vice President, Chief Digital Information Officer (VP/CDIO). The VP/CDIO will help Ringling build upon its success and achieve its vision of becoming the preeminent art and design college in the world.

Founded in 1931, Ringling is a private, not-for-profit, independent higher education success story. Having grown to 1,700 students - numbers that held largely steady or increased during the pandemic - and operating in the black for all of its 90-year history, Ringling has raised its academic and public profiles to that of one of the most decorated and successful art and design colleges in the nation.

Reporting directly to Ringling's visionary president, the VP/CDIO will join a highly creative and collaborative leadership team to execute the vision by developing the strategies and tactics that will continue to enhance Ringling's successful trajectory.

The VP/CDIO will be a strategic and innovative leader, responsible for leading all aspects of information technology in alignment with the mission and goals of Ringling. The College has been a leader in the integration of technology into visual arts and its many accolades demonstrate the importance and success of technology leadership to the vision of preeminence. The VP/CDIO will need to be a collaborative and inclusive leader who can leverage technology to help Ringling realize this vision.

Candidates must have significant experience leading IT teams in higher education. The VP/CDIO will be able to articulate success in developing and implementing IT strategic plans, have strong experience building and maintaining infrastructure as well as organizing, developing and leading IT teams.

Located in lovely Sarasota, Florida, a community that values and supports arts and cultural programming and education, Ringling College is optimally positioned for even greater success. Its new VP/CDIO will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to one of the nation's most successful higher education enterprises.

Inquiries, nominations and applications are invited. Please direct all application materials to Hillary Ross, Zachary Durst or Katie Mazzuckelli via the WittKieffer Candidate Portal here .
