San Diego State University (SDSU) invites nominations, applications, and expressions of interest in its search for the next dean of Global Campus .

For over 40 years, SDSU's College of Extended Studies expanded access to the university's programs with the ultimate goal of transforming the lives of individuals, families and communities. Now known as SDSU Global Campus, it is unique as a self-supporting entity and provides fiscal support to campus-wide initiatives. Over the past five years, Global Campus has served over 50,000 students across a range of offerings, including professional development and certificate programs; international programs; distance learning programs; online undergraduate and graduate degrees and advanced certificates; special session and extension credit programs; and offerings through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Global Campus has approximately 50 staff. The dean of Global Campus reports to the university's provost and senior vice president.

The ideal candidate must be a forward-looking, visionary, and entrepreneurial leader with significant experience advancing non-traditional offerings and programs in higher education. They should have the ability to develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan that can accelerate the Global Campus's growth opportunities, ensure its programs align with the university's mission and vision, support and empower staff and collaborate with a wide variety of constituents.
