Associate Vice Chancellor for Campus Life Services

The University of California San Francisco (UCSF) seeks an Associate Vice Chancellor for Campus Life Services to join a vibrant campus community whose excellence is reflected in its diversity and academic achievements, student success, community service, patients, and healthcare providers.

The Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) of Campus Life Services (CLS) serves as a key member of UCSF’s leadership team by directing a large non-academic area with multiple departments involving diverse functions; developing organizational policies and authorizing their implementation; providing advice, guidance, and assistance to the senior leadership of the university; representing CLS in organization-wide and systemwide planning and coordination; consulting with leaders in other departments and with department staff on programs and services to better serve the campus; and making final decisions for CLS, in support of campus wide goals and objectives.

The successful candidate will serve as a member of the Financial & Administrative Services (FAS) Executive Team, which works as a collective to continuously improve UCSF's infrastructure, community, and resource stewardship; possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field and / or at least ten years of progressively responsible professional experience. An MBA or advanced business or management academic preparation and Federal Emergency Management Certificates for Operating EOC is preferred.
