Position Number: 00053081 The Department of Political Science in Dedman College at Southern Methodist University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track lecturer to teach undergraduate courses in World Politics and data analytics (quantitative and qualitative) beginning August 2023. Initial appointment is for three years and may be renewable. Teaching load is four courses per semester; there are no service expectations. A Ph.D. in Political Science is strongly preferred, although exceptional A.B.D. candidates will be considered (the minimum requirement is a master’s degree in Political Science). Faculty are expected to teach and mentor diverse students within the department’s programs and courses and throughout the University.  We seek committed, innovative, and inclusive educators with demonstrated excellence in teaching.
