Executive Director State Relations

Make an immediate impact when you join UCLA as Executive Director, State Government Relations (SGR). You will lead a dynamic, collaborative and innovative team within UCLA's Government and Community Relations department to develop strategic responses to critical state government legislative and regulatory activities that impact campus interests.
You will provide expertise to campus leadership to develop a comprehensive plan of action for campus priorities. You will align efforts to engage policymakers through compelling stories, briefings, campaigns, programs and special events. Champion UCLA's ability to drive scholarship forward by connecting campus stakeholders and volunteers with state government officials to elevate matters of importance to UCLA. As a representative for the University, you will generate a strong and effective presence at meetings, hearings and other events.
