Director of Student Rights & Responsibilities

The role of the Director of Student Rights and Responsibilities is to foster an environment of safety and well-being for The College of Wooster students through education and awareness of individual responsibility and adherence to community standards for acceptable behavior as outlined in The Scot’s Key, the student code of conduct.

The Director will ensure fairness in the College’s response to conduct issues and will strive to inspire trust and confidence in the College’s response to allegations of misconduct and the College’s conduct process. The Director’s outreach to students will aid in the personal growth and development of students and have a direct impact on campus climate.

The Director will report primarily to the Vice President of Student Affairs/Dean of Students and will work closely with other Deans as well as the Office of Residence Life, the Department of Security and Protective Services, the Department of Athletics, and the Longbrake Student Wellness Center.
