Keystone College, a private, comprehensive institution in La Plume, Pennsylvania, invites applications and nominations for its next President. Founded in 1868, Keystone was the first institution of higher education in the region. Accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the College serves approximately 1,400 students annually across more than 40 degree programs and additional accelerated certification options. The Opportunity: Serving as the College’s chief executive officer and reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, the next President will be an experienced and visionary educational leader who is committed to community engagement and partnerships, takes a collegial approach to administration, and is excited about leading an institution poised for continued growth. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background in leadership and demonstrated success in financial management, fundraising, student-centered initiatives, assessment, and strategic planning. Having a mission-driven philosophy, a motivated and collaborative work ethic, and strong communication skills will be necessary characteristics for this position. A master’s degree is required for this position while a doctoral or terminal degree is strongly preferred.

Location: Keystone’s campus rests on 276 scenic acres in the historic Lackawanna Valley of northeastern Pennsylvania, 15 miles west of Scranton. The region boasts beautiful landscapes highlighted by the Endless Mountains. Surrounded by hills and waterways, the region features historic sites from the age of the industrial revolution, outdoor recreation, winter sports, and cultural entertainment. La Plume offers comfortable living and is located within a two-hour drive from New York City, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia.
