Assistant Clinical Professor, Director of Field Education, Master of Social Work (MSW) Program

Twelve-month, assistant clinical professor faculty position to serve as the Director of Field Education for the developing Master of Social Work program. The Director of Field Education will take the lead in designing all field placement courses, placement activities, and overall field education platform. The Director will also work with the MSW Program Director, as a member of the MSW leadership team, on the CSWE accreditation of the MSW program and potential development of a BSW program and related field activities.

This position will be the second faculty position in the developing MSW program in the newly formed School of Behavioral & Community Health. This School currently houses a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling program and plans to develop related service delivery programs.

The Master of Social Work program is housed within the Moravian University College of Health. This interdisciplinary College emphasizes collaboration and interprofessional education across three units, the School of Behavioral & Community Health, the Helen Breidegam School of Nursing & Public Health, and the School of Rehabilitation Sciences (which includes graduate programs in Athletic Training, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology). By combining an entrepreneurial spirit and a unique curricular structure, students and faculty are able to engage with one another across disciplines in a truly interprofessional educational environment modeled toward best practices in the clinical setting.
