The Broward College Board of Trustees invites applications and nominations for the position of President. This exciting opportunity is being created by the transition of the institution’s highly successful chief executive, J. David Armstrong, Jr. to the role of president emeritus on June 30, 2018, after over 10 years of distinguished service.

The Trustees seek a dynamic president who will lead Broward College to new levels of excellence, serving students and South Florida with innovative programs, community engagement, and initiatives. The seventh president is expected to assume office during the summer of 2018. The president reports to a five-member Board of Trustees, appointed by the Governor. Broward College is part of the Florida College  System, a network of 28 institutions.

Located in Broward County, the second most populated county in Florida, Broward College is situated in the heart of South Florida. The recipient of many awards and recognitions, including Aspen Institute College Excellence Program Finalist with Distinction (2017) and ranking second in College Choice’s “50 Best Community Colleges for 2017,” Broward College proudly fulfills its mission to transform students’ lives and enrich its diverse community through academic excellence, innovation, and meaningful career opportunities. Nominations and Applications:

Broward College is working with AGB Search as its search partner. AGB Search will receive all applications and nominations. Applications will then be presented to the Presidential Screening Committee, which will review and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees.
