A/P Coordinator

As an accounts payable coordinator, you will process a heavy volume of payments for SCAD locations in Atlanta and Savannah, Ga.; Lacoste, France; and online via SCADnow. You will maintain current accounts with assigned vendors and actively communicate with vendors to resolve account issues. You will match invoices to purchase orders and receipts and add them into the system for payment. Among other duties, you will also process all invoices; accounts payable checks, including from outside vendors, employee advances, and reimbursements; manual checks and wires; and student refund and third-party refund checks for delivery to the student accounts office and for direct deposit transmittal.

The successful candidate has spectacular organization and time-management skills, as well as a strong eye for detail and accuracy. Using exceptional interpersonal communication abilities, the candidate should be able to explain records clearly and concisely. Proactive problem solving is essential, as is effectively managing multiple, high-volume projects and requests simultaneously. The candidate should have a positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and a high degree of dependability.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a closely related discipline
  • One to two years of accounts payable experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Computer proficiency that includes intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word


Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver's license

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
