This position works to build relationships with applied students and assist them through the admission process. This person will help students to complete admission files, counsels on the financial aid process, housing, meal plans, scholarship opportunities and all other admission related topics, and encourages matriculation for right fit students. Contact includes phone, email, text and face to face interaction.

SCAD seeks an experienced assistant director of enrollment for its location in bustling Atlanta.

In this full-time role, you will build relationships with applicants and assist them through the admission process. Through phone, email, text, and in-person communication, you will help students complete admission files and counsel them on all admission-related subjects, including financial aid, housing, meal plans, scholarship opportunities, and more.

The successful candidate should have spectacular interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, and can use these abilities to deliver dazzling presentations. Advanced customer-relations experience is essential.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
  • Must be a strong public speaker
  • Must have advanced customer relations skills
  • Must be able to participate in evening and weekend work as needed
  • Must be able to travel as needed
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

    This position may require driving to local college fairs or college visits. This position may also be required to travel by flight to represent SCAD and would need to be able to rent a car to perform duties on location.

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
