Reports directly to the appropriate regional director of recruitment and is primarily responsible for identifying and admitting the highest quality students for all campuses and all market segments. Build good relationships and create networking opportunities with teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni that will benefit the college through presentations, individual attention and occasional travel. Is primarily responsible for the timely completion of applicant files and for encouraging matriculation of admitted students.

SCAD Atlanta seeks an experienced assistant director of enrollment to identify, recruit, and admit the highest quality students for SCAD from India.

In this full-time position, you will build strong relationships and networks with teachers, prospective students and their parents, and alumni through spectacular presentations, individual attention, and occasional in-person meetings. You will encourage prospective students to visit SCAD locations and meet with these students and their families during visits, and follow up with prospective students regularly via phone, email, and in-person visits. As an advocate for students, you will encourage the submission of portfolios for submission for SCAD scholarships, acceptance, and evaluation; provide counsel on the admission process, academics, and financial questions; and prepare prospective students’ applicant files for presentation to the admission review committee. Among other responsibilities, you will also participate in call-a-thons and LivePerson sessions as well as SCAD Days and Focus Days for prospective students and parents, counselors, and teachers.

The successful candidate is an outstanding written and verbal communicator with equally exceptional presentation skills. Organized and highly detailed, the candidate is strategic in accomplishing goals. Knowledge of the web and web-based software is essential, as is the ability to work independently.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
  • Ability to travel extensively

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
