Summary of Position

The Department of Psychology in the College of Liberal Arts, at the University of New Hampshire invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor position to begin January or Fall, 2023. This is a non-tenure track clinical faculty position.

Acceptable Minimum Qualifications

Requirements: Ph.D. in clinical or counseling psychology and a record of teaching, practice, and clinical supervision. Expectations are license or license eligible as a psychologist in New Hampshire. The successful applicant will teach assigned courses, advise undergraduate students, and participate in departmental service. Courses to be covered by this position include Abnormal Psychology, Counseling, Internship, Advanced Internship as well as potential advanced clinical/counseling psychology coursework. The teaching load is 3/2 for clinical faculty with responsibilities in clinical career advising. Applicants should show a commitment to sustain and advance the goals of the institution’s diversity of students, faculty, and staff. While there is no research expectation for this position, research collaborations with other faculty may be possible.
