Assistant Director of Admission, ND/SD/KS/IA/MO/WI/MI

As an assistant director of admission, you will travel extensively throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Michigan to build positive relationships and networking opportunities with teachers, counselors, prospective students and their parents, and SCAD alumni. As part of travel, you will participate in school-specific events, information sessions, and other recruitment events and initiatives, and will deliver dazzling presentations and dedicated individualized attention to event attendees.

Among other duties, you will also follow up with prospective students via phone and email to determine their particular interests and to answer questions about the admission process, as well as opportunities at SCAD. Travel for this position includes 15 weeks in the fall and 12-15 weeks in the spring.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Strong presentation and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently


Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver's license

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
