Tenured Associate Professor Position in MIS

The Krannert School of Management at Purdue University invites applications for one tenured associate professor position in Management Information Systems (MIS) beginning in fall 2023. The primary responsibilities will be to conduct impactful high-quality research, teach at the undergraduate and graduate level, participate in course/curriculum development, and provide service to Krannert, the University, and the Information Systems academic community.  Qualified candidates must have:

  • A Ph. D. in MIS or a closely related discipline.
  • Excellent record of published research in premier outlets and recognition/establishment in the Information Systems academic community, commensurate with the rank.
  • Evidence of teaching excellence.

We seek candidates whose research and teaching interests complement and deepen our existing strengths. Candidates with demonstrated research excellence in the area of economics of information systems covering topics such as digital transformations, business analytics, and artificial intelligence are strongly encouraged to apply.
