SCAD Atlanta seeks an experienced attorney to join its office of legal affairs and provide legal advice and representation to the trustees, executive officers, and administrative and academic units of the university in a rewarding, fast-paced environment.

The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) seeks an experienced attorney to join its Office of Legal Affairs to provide legal advice and representation to the trustees, executive officers, and administrative and academic units of the university in a challenging and stimulating environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Eligibility for admission to the Georgia Bar within six months of hire
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a high-quality legal practice

Preferred Qualifications: Preference is given to attorneys with experience in licensing and technology agreements; experience developing and/or implementing a legal compliance function, or experience working for an institution of higher education.

Certificates, licenses and registrations:Licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia.

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
