Assistant Professor, Theatre

University of Northern Iowa's Department of Theatre seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate will teach nine credit hours per semester, including introductory and advanced coursework in acting involving multiple methodologies; Playscript Analysis; and general theatre coursework. Additional possible courses include Musical Theatre and Acting for the Camera. Duties include directing one mainstage production annually and meeting the service obligations required of all faculty.

Applicants must hold a Master of Fine Arts degree in acting. Professional performance or directing experience also required. Preference will be given to applicants with the ability to choreograph and / or those who hold a Ph.D. in Theatre.
