11 Month Hourly Staff FT
SCAD seeks an enthusiastic library associate to join its team full time in bustling Atlanta.
In this front-line position, you will deliver comprehensive service to students and faculty during night and weekend hours - including opening and closing shifts - and assist with all aspects of customized service to students such as course reservation and basic research. You will support the processing, organization, and maintenance of the library’s collections, fulfill inter-campus requests, and assist with outreach activities that promote the library to students and faculty. Among other responsibilities, you will also assist with the supervision of work-study students.
The successful candidate is a spectacular communicator with advanced customer service skills and experience using an integrated library system for circulation of holdings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of two years of directly related experience in a library environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, web tools, and library systems software (ILS)
- Ability to work nights and weekends
