Ensemble Performer

As an ensemble performer, you will be responsible for creating song lists, rehearsing music, and performing on a weekly basis. You will travel to represent SCAD with great entertainment and patter that informs the audience about SCAD's atmosphere, programs of study, and the professionalism at all SCAD locations. Among other duties, you will also help to inspire prospective SCAD students to enroll at SCAD.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • SCAD alum with experience in performance (e.g., singing, acting, dance)
  • Ability to travel daily and weekly throughout the year
  • Positive, outgoing, engaging, and professional expectations
  • Experience with a variety of music styles, including jazz, pop, gospel, contemporary, and musical theater.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient with piano and guitar
  • Experience in ensemble performance

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
