SCAD Atlanta seeks a professor of advertising and branding with interactive design skills to instruct and inspire, and to help creative students reach their career goals.

The ideal candidate is flexible and able to teach within the varying disciplines of advertising, branding, and interactive design. The university seeks educators who will encourage innovation and process development while teaching, with practical concepts of the design profession as a constant element. The candidate should be proficient in industry software such as the Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D, Unreal, and/or Unity.

The candidate will also have experience in brand strategies and emerging technologies coming through the pipeline, as well as and professional-level visual art and design production experience. With the onset of the convergence of brands extending beyond the physical world, our students must have the ability to strategically imagine the future of brands in ways that can benefit the various needs of businesses and customers, and simulate those experiences for better brand engagement.

The ability to simulate strategic experiences in both the physical and virtual worlds, using Cinema 4D, Unreal, Unity, and newly emerging platforms, is essential in preparing students and building competencies for their future careers.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Terminal degree in the discipline or in a related field.
- Teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
- Experience in or knowledge of related professions.
- Academic and professional credentials to teach in a certain discipline.
