New Mexico State University (NMSU), a NASA Space Grant College, a Hispanic-serving institution, and home to the first Honors College in New Mexico invites applications and nominations for its Chief Facilities Officer position.
This is a unique opportunity to serve at New Mexico's land-grant institution and comprehensive research university dedicated to teaching, research, and service at all levels. Recognized as a top-tier university by U.S. News & World Report, New Mexico State University sits on a 900-acre campus in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and enrolls approximately 14,000 students from 49 states and 89 countries. NMSU serves a multi-cultural population of students and community members across the state at four campuses, a satellite learning center in Albuquerque, cooperative extension offices located in each of New Mexico's 33 counties, and 12 agriculture research and science centers. Plus, distance education programs give students maximum flexibility.
The successful candidate for the position of Chief Facilities Officer will have direct operational and administrative responsibility for supporting the mission and goals for NMSU System through securing and maintaining the viability and integrity of the physical campus. The Officer will provide leadership and direction in all aspects of administering a facilities and services department including strategic planning and customer-focused programs.
