Professor of Management

The Hope College Department of Economics & Business invites applications for an open rank business tenure-track position to start Fall 2023. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to combine teaching excellence with a productive research agenda, should be committed to the character and goals of a liberal arts college, and should have a commitment to and understanding of the historic Christian faith. All areas of specialization will be considered; Strategy is preferred. A Ph.D is desired. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarly research, program leadership, and advising undergraduate students.

For example, we seek candidates who (a) enjoy and pursue relevant scholarship as an important (but not sole) aspect of their career, (b) excel at rigorous and relational teaching (especially in applied environments), © fully live out their Christian faith, (d) seek an academic community and culture that wants you to succeed and to experience a holistic well-being, and (e) profess their academic discipline, yet seek to do so in the context of the liberal arts tradition.
