The Opportunity
The Stephen M. The Executive Education Center originated in Ann Arbor, MI, USA in 1935 and by the 1940’s was offering an array of courses, workshops, and conferences with an overwhelming response from corporations. Today, the Center offers approximately 30 different public program offerings and a variety of custom programs annually serving several thousand business executives around the world.  We deliver programs globally, wherever our corporate clients request. We are proud that both our open enrollment and custom programs for Executive Development are highly regarded.  Leadership Excellence Magazine consistently rated Michigan’s Executive Education Leadership Development programs #1 from 2008-2013 (ranking has been discontinued.) The Financial Times ranks Michigan Ross Executive Education among the top 10 providers in the world. 

Reporting to the Associate Dean for Executive Programs, the Senior Executive Director, Executive Education and Chief Executive Education Officer (“CEEO”) is responsible for providing leadership for the delivery of high quality custom and open enrollment executive education programs worldwide. Michigan Ross Executive Education provides hands-on development to middle and senior level executives in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors of business, inspiring them to embrace a fundamentally new way of thinking that raises their values. Included are the development, design, marketing, sales, and implementation of new programs to meet client needs and to further the School’s mission of bridging theory and practice. 

The ideal candidate will have a deep, demonstrated understanding of—and commitment to—the values and mission of executive education adult learning. They will have 8+ years of relevant experience in leading and managing an organization at the senior executive level. A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degrees is strongly preferred.
