Admission Assistant

As an admission assistant, you will greet all guests and visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff. You will answer incoming calls for the university’s central phone line, manage the distribution of the departmental email account, and assist in mailing out all outgoing acceptance and scholarship letters. You will manage supply inventory, assist in Live Agent shifts, and participate in scheduled activities for SCAD Days and other special events as needed. Among other duties, you will also audit addresses in the CRM for accurate record keeping and assist with the sorting of incoming mail as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (associate degree preferred)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Essential computer and organization abilities
  • Ability to work outside office hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed


Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
