The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of adult psychiatry. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certification/Board eligibility in psychiatry and PA medical license are required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching and supervising medical students and residents in an outpatient setting.

Clinical responsibilities may include direction of patient care, establishment of diagnosis, development of treatment plans, documentation of treatment services and provision of direct ongoing care and services to psychiatric outpatients.

Responsibilities will also include maintaining administrative duties that pertain to the position. The successful applicant will have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
