The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Human Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions on either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D, D.O. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research, clinical care, and education. Candidates must be certified or board certified/eligible in Clinical Genetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics.

Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include providing outpatient and inpatient consultative services.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include engaging in funded research involving human genetics, genomic medicine, or translational therapeutics.

Evidence of scholarship is required for both the clinician-educator and tenure track.

Applicants must have demonstrated substantial experience in aspects of human genetics research as detailed above, with a track record of publication and good communication skills.
