Job Description
The Part-time Photography Technician is responsible for administrative and technical work involved in the receiving, inspecting, and issuing of film, video, photo, lighting, and AV equipment, materials, and supplies. Work includes circulating Educational Media equipment through Web Checkout, thorough testing of all equipment, cycle counting, and inventories. This position may occasionally be assigned to the 2nd-floor studios.
This is a part-time position with a regular weekly schedule of up to 20 hours per week. This job will have a set schedule of Monday & Friday 9 am-5 pm and Thursdays 5 pm - 9 pm with opportunities to cover other shifts. It is hi paced counter work dealing with customer service and lifting many heavy / odd-shaped equipment cases, up to 50 lb chemical cube containers, and the installation of 9ft seamless background rolls using 8ft ladders to replace them and mount them in 2nd-floor studios. It is a very demanding job, and you will be on your feet a lot. This is an on-time and able-to-work position that is super fun.
This is a temporary, 9 month position.
