Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of extracranial solid tumors. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board-certified Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching and research training of residents, post-doctoral fellows, graduate students and medical students.

Clinical responsibilities may include serving as attending physician on the dedicated solid tumor inpatient service and providing outpatient care to children, adolescents and young adults with extracranial solid tumors.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include directing an independent research program focused on developing strategies to use epigenetic modifiers to enhance novel immunotherapies for children, adolescents, and young adult with extracranial solid tumors. Candidates should have a track record of successful extramural funding.
