BIOMEDICAL SCIENTIST, ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

The Department of Biology at the University of Tampa invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in biomedical sciences related to human disease beginning in August 2018.  Teaching responsibilities will include introductory biology for majors, a new upper division course related to cellular and/or molecular aspects of human disease, and other courses as needed.  The candidate is expected to engage in scholarly and research activities that involve undergraduates and yield peer-reviewed publications related to human disease.  Limited start-up packages and modest research space are available for tenure-track postions.

 

PhD required, ABD candidates considered, with prior teaching and research experience with undergraduates desirable.
