Job Description Summary
Analytics at Wharton (AAW) unites The Wharton School's trail-blazing teaching, research, and industry engagement initiatives that use data to improve decision-making and generate actionable insights. AAW brings together eight programs at the School - AI for Business, Computational Social Science for Business, Wharton Customer Analytics, Penn Wharton Budget Model, Wharton People Analytics, Wharton Neuroscience Initiative, Wharton Research Data Services, and Wharton Sports Analytics and Business Initiative and supports new ideas and opportunities to expand the impact of big data analytics on research, curriculum, and industry and alumni engagement.

Job Description

The Senior Content Producer will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications to communicate the overall strategic mission of Analytics at Wharton. The Senior Content Producer will execute a plan to create and distribute digestible content from student programming and faculty research targeted at industry, students, alumni, and business professionals. The Senior Content Producer will work directly with a diverse network of internal stakeholders to guide projects from concept to delivery with oversight and guidance from the Director. This individual must be able to adjust to a fast-paced, high performing professional environment, and be comfortable working across multiple platforms, including WordPress, Adobe suite, Microsoft Office suite, email marketing platform, and a social media management system.

Responsibilities include:
  • Create digital content assets that elevate the reach and impact of AAW's research and insights, advance marketing efforts and align with, promote and strengthen the brand of The Wharton School. These assets include stories, blogs, graphics, web content, landing pages, social media, email, video, print, and other materials.
  • Implement AAW's content strategy and editorial and content standards which are based on industry best practices and brand guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with marketing and communication staff in various units across AAW and Wharton and share best practices in content creation.
  • Translate and communicate faculty research findings for various audiences, including industry, students, alumni, business professionals, and the general public with a goal of increasing the reach and relevance of its academic output.
  • Serve as a content strategist for new and existing web projects and objectives for AAW. Collaborate storyboarding and scripting for video projects. Create, develop, and manage web content, social media platforms, and other digital assets.
  • Oversee management of all programming communication needs for AAW, including event invitations, announcements, speaker bios, webpages, registration forms, and programs.
  • Develop marketing and promotional materials for fundraising and programming efforts.


Targeted Pay Range:
$65-80K commensurate with education and experience. This Targeted Pay Range is only applicable to this job posting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Background in Marketing, Communications, Media, Public Relations, Business, or related field is preferred
  • Exceptional skills in writing, graphic design, and video filming and editing
  • Excellent decision-making ability
  • Ability to work independently, and within a group
  • Must maintain confidentiality
  • Must be fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress, knowledgeable with marketing automation tools (ex. Salesforce, Pardot) and be comfortable learning an adapting new technologies and processes
  • Ability to think strategically through various channels
  • Experience with HTML coding and other CMS tools
  • Extensive knowledge of current interactive technologies and best practices
  • Ability to work collegially and collaboratively across multiple teams and departments, and to be self-guided and solution-oriented in work approaches
