SCAD seeks an Executive Assistant to join the most influential department at the university and work as a liaison between the president's office and SCAD Atlanta employees.

In this role, you will assist the president as needed, attending all SCAD signature events, arranging lodging, transportation, and meals, and assisting the chief of staff with day-to-day operations. You will attend meetings, events, and interviews to record notes and ensure follow up, as well as prepare briefing materials and talking points beforehand. This position is responsible for the president's office master calendar, as well as all incoming phone inquiries and email requests. This position serves as the main liaison between all members of the president's office staff and the chief operation officer's staff.

The ideal candidate has professional tact and excellent writing and communication skills. The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential, as well as knowledge of commercial and private travel, and experience with software programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Strong writing skills and excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with planning for business meetings
• Ability to travel frequently

Certificates, licenses and registrations: Valid driver's license

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
