Assist the institutional effectiveness (IE) team on research, planning, accreditation, assessment and curriculum-related projects as well as any special projects and events that require the VP’s participation. In addition, the coordinator supports the senior director of assessment and curriculum management in the distribution and processing of surveys, the preparation and review of curriculum council agendas, the review of assessment and use of results reports, and other assessment and curriculum management support as needed. The coordinator also provides administrative support to the VP for institutional effectiveness and supports the administration of course evaluations each quarter.
A broad knowledge of the university’s priorities, policies and procedures, protocols and personnel is required and coordinator may be asked to prepare, gather, and relay confidential information and material on behalf of the VPs. Based on these expectations, the coordinator must exercise confidentiality, discretion and good judgment in providing executive support to the VP and representing the university. As a representative of the IE team and the VP, the coordinator is expected to ensure utmost professionalism and excellence in all communications and work results.

Position Summary: SCAD seeks an experienced coordinator for institutional effectiveness and assessment to join its team in historic Savannah, Ga.

Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree and three or more year’s related administrative support experience
Experience in higher education
Evidence of self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and within a team
Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
