You will lead a full course load (four classes) each quarter. You will use your expertise to help develop and maintain an animation curriculum for the department’s B.F.A., M.A., and M.F.A. degrees. As a professor, you will maintain regular on-campus office hours and provide academic advisement to assigned students, including assisting in class registration and reviewing/approving student schedules using online registration software. You will also play an active role in the success of the department, often participating in committee assignments, student advancement reviews, department openings, senior reception, commencement, and SCAD Days, among other activities. The successful candidate should stay current in his or her areas of expertise and has a strong portfolio of modeling and look development work. The candidate should also have a portfolio of current or past students’ work.
