SCAD Savannah seeks a full-time professor to join the faculty of its service design program, the newest addition to a progressive platform of programs within the SCAD School of Design.
The first university in the U.S. to offer both B.F.A. and M.F.A. degree programs in service design, SCAD prepares students from day one to meet the demand for highly strategic designers across many sectors in the global economy. As a professor, you will lend your knowledge and experience to guide these students as they grow into the next generation of luminaries in service design.
The successful candidate is a visionary in service design or has the enthusiasm and discipline to become one. The candidate should have a flair for the creative and should demonstrate spectacular graphic and idea visualization abilities. Highly motivated and knowledgeable, the candidate is a design strategist with a solid track record of translating deep insights into innovative services, product-service systems, interactions, and user experiences for well-known brands. Strong project management skills are essential.
