SCAD seeks a part-time accessory design professor to join its faculty in bustling Atlanta. 
 

In the SCAD accessory design program, students learn how to collaborate with peers and professionals to conceptualize, design, and implement an eclectic range of luxury fashion accessories and products for a competitive market. As a professor, you will join a team of international faculty members to lead students through every step of the design process using your expertise in accessory design, construction, and bespoke shoemaking techniques. From concept to completion, you will provide unparalleled and individual attention to prime students for careers in the thriving accessory industry.

Requirements

  • Terminal degree or its equivalent in accessory design or a related field 
  • Experience in footwear, preferably athletic shoes
  • Technical experience in design theory preferred 
  • College-level teaching experience preferred
