SCAD Savannah seeks a part-time professor of social media strategy and management to instruct and inspire the next generation of artists and designers.
 

In this position, you will teach all aspects of social media strategy and management, planning, and compelling campaign creation, including brand storytelling, digital strategy, marketing strategy, analytics, audience engagement, and more.
 

The successful candidate is proficient in social media strategy and the technical aspects of social media optimization, digital content ecosystems, in-depth social reporting and insights from monitoring tools, content creation, and distribution for the digital space. The candidate should have experience strategically creating, analyzing, and tracking digital content, as well as working for ad agencies or in-house marketing groups. Experience in both the creative and account-side of advertising is essential, including strategy, concept development and implementation, research, planning, and brand management. Management of social media strategy, content, and communication plans for clients in an array of industries is also a must.
 

Requirements

  • B.F.A. in a relevant discipline (terminal degree preferred)
  • Five or more years of related professional experience
  • Knowledge in advertising, branding, marketing, and writing content for multi-platforms and new media is preferred
  • University-level teaching experience preferred
