The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professors positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certified/eligible in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine and Adolescent Medicine is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents, and fellows as a member of the Craig-Dalsimer Division of Adolescent Medicine.

Clinical responsibilities may include seeing patients in the inpatient and outpatient primary and specialty care settings in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)". Multiple sites of practice are available including a primary care practice, specialty care satellite locations and inpatient units at CHOP, CHOP's new satellite hospital and a behavioral health hospital.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include focus on adolescent or young adult health research in areas such as parent-teen relationships and health, eating disorders, STI and HIV care/prevention, sexual/gender minority youth, substance use, health disparities, and/or medical education. Opportunities for collaborative clinical research are available related to education, continuous quality improvement, health services, minority health and disparities, resiliency, STIs/HIV, pregnancy prevention, smoking, substance use, gender, eating disorders, obesity, depression and suicide. Leadership positions in these areas may also be available. Evidence of scholarship is required for the CE track.
