Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Facility Operations, this position focuses on cleaning and maintaining the CVPF manufacturing and Quality Control facilities on SPE 9 and Ravdin 3. manufacturing site operations related to the supply chain and materials management, electronic systems integration, applicable regulatory compliance, project management, and assisting with facility operational budgets and budget planning. The Clinical Cell and Vaccine Production Facility (CVPF) is composed of two GMP suites of 1510 process rooms total each, a separate Quality Control laboratory, and supporting regulatory, facilities and administrative staff totaling >50 FTE's. The Facility is a critical resource in supporting leading-edge translational research by developing, manufacturing, and testing cell and gene therapy products in clinical trials. These trials range from small early phase first-in human clinical trials to large Phase II randomized and multi-center trials in collaboration with academic and industry partners.

Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience working in a GMP environment supporting clinical trials is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with individuals of varying levels of education, experience, and job duties and to thrive in a collaborative research environment is required. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required to serve as a liaison across multi-functional groups. A detailed-oriented work ethic with strong organization, excellent time management skills, and the ability to consistently follow written procedures are vital to excel in this position. A willingness and aptitude for learning and using software systems is preferred.
