Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Discipline – Technology Management

The School of Professional Studies (SPS) at Columbia University invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Lecturer in Discipline or Senior Lecturer in Discipline to teach in the MS Program in Technology Management. This position will begin on July 1, 2018. This is a full-time appointment with multi-year renewal contingent on successful review.
 

The successful candidate will teach courses related to technology management in one or more of the following areas: C-Level Management, Data Management and Analytics, New Business Ventures, Cybersecurity, and Digital and Business Transformation.


The successful candidate will hold a doctoral degree, terminal degree, or its professional equivalent in computer science, electrical engineering, instructional systems, information management, education, analytics, business, or another area related to technology management and  exhibit a commitment to excellence in teaching, mentoring, instructional design, and professional practice and/or scholarship.  

 

Candidates at the rank of Senior Lecturer in Discipline are expected to have substantial experience and accomplishments, and a superlative record of teaching as a lecturer, and documented evidence of excellence in carrying out administrative or other department responsibilities.
 

Candidates at the rank of Lecturer in Discipline are expected to have teaching experience, documented evidence of excellence, and evidence of professional growth and activity in the given field.
