The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Instructor position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of obstetrics and gynecology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board certified/eligible and trained as a specialist in Ob/Gyn or a subspecialist in one of the Ob/Gyn subspecialties.

Responsibilities may include conducting basic, translational and/or clinical research in women's reproductive health. Individuals with an interest in a mentored research experience may be considered for a Women's Reproductive Health Research (WRHR) career development award or a Reproductive Scientist Development Scholar award.

The successful applicant will have an opportunity to participate in clinical responsibilities as an Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist or as a subspecialist in one of the following: Maternal-Fetal, Medicine, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, or Family Planning.
