Summary:
The Graduate Enrollment Coordinator's responsibilities will include managing the enrollment funnel for all graduate Counseling programs at John Carroll, from point of inquiry to matriculation. This position will serve as a primary point of contact and support for the recruiting needs of these programs, working closely with faculty and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Shepherd students from point of inquiry to matriculation, curating the funnel for all Counseling programs (Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling, Substance Use Disorders Certificate, Post-Master's Clinical Mental Health Counseling)
• Streamline all aspects of student visit-scheduling with rooms, faculty, tours, etc.
• Gather content for Counseling communication flows, and edit as needed
• Collaborate with faculty on developing new admissions pipelines to expand the diversity of students in the program
• Coordinate and run all Counseling admission events, including those for special populations (early admission, key accounts, etc.)
• Provide tours to all prospective Counseling students

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in relevant academic/professional fields
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with students in a higher education setting
• Excellent time management and communication skills, both written and verbal
• An ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external constituencies
• Evidence of commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
• An enthusiasm for helping prospective graduate students navigate the graduate school search process
• Should have a high energy level, strong attention to detail, and compelling presentation skills
• Able to prioritize workflow and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Ease with multiple modes of communication, including phone, email, and text messaging
• Evidence of providing a high level of customer service when working with faculty, staff, and students
• Interest in understanding and supporting John Carroll's mission to inspire individuals to excel in learning, leadership, and service in the region and in the world

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, higher education, or other related field
• 2-3 years of experience in admissions, enrollment, or school counseling
• Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
• An understanding and ability articulate the value of a graduate degree

Normal Working Hours and Conditions:
University core business hours are generally 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. However this position will require work to be performed outside of normal business hours based on department operations.

Physical Requirements :
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other office locations and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
