Seeking to accelerate our vision to be the exemplar catalyst for innovation and advancement of the profession of public health, locally and globally, the University of South Florida College of Public Health invites applications for a non-tenure earning Practice Pathway faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor to teach and participate in scholarly activity in the CAHME- accredited MHA Program, as well as, other degree programs in the College.

The USF College of Public Health was ranked 16th nationally among public health degree programs by the 2022 U.S. News and World Report. This is a special opportunity to join a dynamic interdisciplinary faculty actively engaged in shaping the future of public health through innovative curricula, transformational research and community partnerships designed to create a positive collective impact on health. We seek an individual to develop and teach courses in the MHA, MPH and related programs ensuring compliance with the criteria required by the College accrediting bodies, including the Commission on Accreditation for Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). The University of South Florida CAHME-accredited MHA Program provides competency-based health management training using an integrated population health management approach. The USF MHA Program serves early- and mid-career professionals. The program offers mostly in-person classes in the evening (i.e., 6:30 pm) combined with other delivery modalities, including fully-online and hybrid classes which create opportunities for student engagement throughout the large geographic area along the west coast of Florida. Part of USF Health, the USF College of Public Health was founded in 1984 as the first college of public health in Florida and consists of a multidisciplinary faculty of 84 scholars, professionals and leaders serving the educational needs of more than 4,500 students in bachelors, master’s and doctoral degree programs.
