Assistant Professor in Economics

The Department of Economics at Texas Christian University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2018. The successful candidate will complete all Ph.D. requirements by August 2018 and offer upper-division courses in any of the following fields (History of Economic Thought, Methodology, and Heterodox Approaches; Mathematical and Quantitative Methods; Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics; Health, Education, and Welfare: General; Labor and Demographic Economics; Industrial Organization) plus one or more of the following: intermediate microeconomics, intermediate macroeconomics, or contending perspectives in economics. Individuals with advanced econometric, mathematical modeling, or computer simulation skills will receive special attention. The research expectation is commensurate with 3/2 teaching load. Departmental representatives will interview candidates at the January 2018 AEA meetings.
