Job Description Summary
Philadelphia Regional Center for Children's Environmental Health (PRCCEH) is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Translation Core to support the programs of the Center, recently funded by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). The candidate will report to the Directors and Deputy Director of the Center and provide programmatic administrative support. The Center is focusing on translation of knowledge in children's environmental health to intervention and prevention efforts in communities, health care, and policy making to reduce the exposure and harms associated with lead, air pollution, asthma triggers, and endocrine disrupting chemicals during pregnancy and childhood. The candidate will interact with Center members at University of Pennsylvania, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and regional universities, provide administrative assistance for translation core programs, maintain the website, manage social media, manage pilot project applications and review process, and prepare progress reports. The candidate will design and implement multiple programs in the Philadelphia region in collaboration with Center staff. They will interact with the public, researchers, and community groups.

Job Description

Manage Translation Core Programs
- Maintain data base of key contacts for TC
-Maintain activities and accomplishment list for TC
-Develop new content and tailor existing content for Prescriptions for Prevention Program
-Engage with teachers in the TIPS program to support curriculum roll out to students in their classes
-Assist in the development of content for webinars for childcare providers in PA
-Plan and execute soil sampling workshops (3 each year) throughout Philadelphia and perform lead soil testing to support them
- Design outreach strategy to provide drinking water testing kits to community partners and arrange for the testing and dissemination of results.
-Work with Community Asthma Prevention Program staff to engage health care providers in Chester, recruit patients, coordinate logistics of people and supplies and communications between community health worker and patients and collect implementation data in a format suitable for analysis
- Train community members and build capacity for their engagement of regulators and legislators
- Assist in the development of individual school risk assessments for asbestos exposure and arrange the logistics for their presentation in community/school settings.
-Develop a process for the recruitment and admission of adolescents into the Academy for Environmental Exposure Reduction.
-Arrange logistics, scheduling and support for the Academy for Environmental Exposure Reduction.

Manage Translation Core Communications
-Manage TC communications between and among program personnel
- Manage all social media with new content posted at least weekly
-Design, produce and manage website including content for all program activities, pilot projects and engagement of clinicians around children's environmental health
- Produce annual reports and summaries of data for stakeholder dissemination

Organize all TC meetings (i.e. special meetings, regular program meetings with community partners, Community Stakeholder Advisory Board Meetings, grant planning, pilot project, Academy for Environmental Exposure Reduction etc.)
- Booking space/BlueJeans or Zoom Set-Up

- Honoraria and expense processing
-Formatting & Sending meeting agendas/meeting materials
-Collecting meeting documents
- Sending outlook meeting invites
-Creating and sending doodle polls
- Transcribing meeting minutes for review then formatting and distributing

Assist with the TC Pilot Program
- Develop and communicate promotional materials

-Answer questions from potential applicants

-Receive, review for completeness and organize applications

-Distribute outcome letters to all applicants

-Organize pilot project presentations for center members

5. Analyze data
- Work with PRCCEH scientists to analyze data
-Produce visual representations accessible to community partners and stakeholders

6. General TC Duties

- Vendor payments (BEN)

-Reimbursements (CONCUR)

-Travel arrangements for speakers/guests and faculty

- Phone management and call routing for CEET Director

- Filing, record keeping

-Check Requests

-BEN ordering including office supplies

-Maintain department records / phone lists / contact lists, etc.

-TC programs Promotional Material -Preparing- Ordering and storage

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Master's degree preferred. Prior experience is needed and experience in public health, environmental health, and research is highly valued. Excellent writing, communication, and coordination skills are needed.

Position contingent upon funding.
