Training and Quality Assurance Coordinator
The Penn Computerized Neurocognitive Battery (CNB) is comprised of a series of tests that have been applied in neuroimaging studies and can be used either in a scanner, as part of a functional neuroimaging study, or outside a scanner for measuring individual differences in performance. Tests measure accuracy and speed of performance in major domains of cognition, including executive-control functions (abstraction, attention, working memory), episodic memory (verbal, facial, spatial), complex cognitive processing (language reasoning, nonverbal reasoning, spatial processing), social cognition (emotion identification, emotion intensity differentiation, age differentiation) and sensorimotor and motor speed. The CNB has been translated to over 15 languages, is adapted for children and adults and is currently used worldwide by research institutions doing studies measuring cognition, in assessment of military servicemembers, Marines and Astronauts, understanding cognitive development in children, cognitive therapies for schizophrenia patients, and genomic research in populations with or at risk.
The Training and QA Coordinator is responsible for training materials, training for assessment and executing end-to-end quality assurance tests for all CNB tests, CNB platforms, and integrations. Preferred candidates will be technically skilled, personable, collaborative, continually improving, and work well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The Coordinator should be well versed in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and have experience across the major phases of the SDLC including product requirements, technical design, and testing methodologies. The successful candidate must also be a self-starter, who remains productive and positive in a fast-paced, complex environment.

The optimal candidate will have demonstrated capacity to be responsible for training (in-person and remote) new assessors while onboarding new projects and servicing ongoing projects. She/he will work with a supervisor to conduct assessments as needed, identify gaps, analyze effectiveness of training materials and revise as needed.She/he will work closely with the development team to understand CNB software cycle and assist with developing, documenting, and executing test plans for existing and new CNB tests.

- Conduct in person and online training as directed for new assessors or up-training and ongoing refreshers for existing staff
- Assist in developing and maintaining training materials
- Maintain documentation summarizing training received by each CNB assessor and work with Supervisor and peers to ensure training responsibilities are met
- Assist in testing of new and existing CNB tests, CNB Platform/Integrations and testing reliability of functionality being released
- Create, document, verify, and execute end-to-end test plans and test cases
- Work closely with CNB developers to create test cases, identify, report, and troubleshoot software defects, and execute retesting-verifying problem fixes in a detailed, efficient, and timely manner
- Review requirements specifications and identify gaps and inconsistencies
- Work with developers and project managers to create, populate, and maintain different projects' development/QA/release pipelines on a project management platform (e.g., Slack, Jira, Clubhouse).

- BA/BS degree and 2-3 years relevant work experience in teaching/training and customer service or user support or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
