Assistant Professor of Theater-Directing Emphasis
Kenyon College, a highly selective liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a tenure track position in Drama (emphasis in Directing) at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in July 2018. The successful candidate will teach the equivalent of five courses each year, including one section of Introduction to the Theater, courses in directing, and one or two courses in dramatic literature. In addition, this position requires that the candidate direct one of the season’s main stage productions annually and advise several senior thesis productions. Faculty at Kenyon College are also expected to advise new students, as well as majors within the department and serve on college committees. The successful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the performing arts in the context of a liberal arts education. A completed MFA is required.
